The Top 5 Women's Dreams - Expertly Analysed

These are the five most common female dreams - and expertly analysed by psychologists. These are the results:
Appearing Naked In Public
Appearing naked in public psychologically indicates that you are feeling vulnerable and, perhaps more to the point, afraid of being caught unawares or caught off guard, suggesting that there is something happening in your life that you are not prepared for.
Being Chased
Dreaming about being chased, according to psychologists, simply means you are consciously avoiding an issue or, in other words, running and hiding from something. The person, or thing, chasing you may also represent an aspect of your personality, such as feelings of jealousy, anger or hatred.
Falling
Falling whilst in the middle of a dream suggests you are overwhelmed and are out of control in a waking, or conscious, part of your life, which is being silently recognised by the subconscious mind, alerting you of your situation through dreams. It is also seen as representing a hidden feeling of failure or feeling inferior.
Flying
Also known as a lucid dream, where the subject is aware that they're dreaming. if you enjoy your flying, your dream suggests that you are in control of a situation. However, if you are in fear during your flying dream, this indicates you are afraid of challenges or being successful.
Teeth Falling Out
Somewhat more uncommon, dreams that involve your teeth falling out, wobbling or otherwise starting to crumble, directly relate to your self esteem. Psychological experts believe that this dream represents your anxieties about your appearance or how others perceive you. Another theory suggests that you are afraid of showing yourself up in front of others or of being embarrassed in some other way.
The dreaming state of sleep is considered by some psychologists to be another state of thinking. In a waking state, a normal person's brain receives impulses from his senses, these impressions are analysed and interpreted by the brain. A person in his waking life is concerned with mastering their conscious world, in dreams, the person becomes a spectator of his own inner world.
The importance of dreams is becoming well known and recognised worldwide, but psychologists argue as to the causes of some dreams. Sigmund Freud (1838-1939) argued the fact that dreams represent irrational, infantile and socially unacceptable strivings that have been repressed by the dreamer during their waking life.
Freud's views were rejected by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung (1875-1961) who believed that dreams represent an unconscious striving for perfection.
Despite their basic disagreement, both Freud and Jung believed dreams to be a symbolic language that could be interpreted to explain human behaviours. However, one of the purposes of psychoanalysis in treating emotional or mental disorders remains the same as it always has been - to uncover the repressions that lie behind the dreams. And that causes psychologists, in turn, to analyse individual dreams.
